1. How do you ensure that you have the right teams, processes, and tools in place to provide superior care and service for individuals who reach out for support?
Communication is our greatest tool. Communication with our corporate clients is key in helping us understand their unique needs and expectations of accessing our services, which will inform how we handle each case. Communicating with our internal teams is also a great asset – we all work in tandem with one another, so understanding each others’ roles can help in providing the appropriate direction for clients and ensuring that they can access the care they need. Transparent communication within our team is just as important as the communication that happens with our clients. Engaging in effective communication helps build stronger relationships, which helps provide a positive experience for all involved. It is also a great learning opportunity. I learn from my clients daily, which helps inform how we can improve our programs to continue to provide the superior care and service our clients come to expect from us.
2. How do you and your team tailor your approach to meet the unique and diverse needs of individuals seeking assistance?Â
We work with people, which means understanding that every individual and case is unique, and no two cases will be handled the same way. Having this understanding allows us to provide a more personal touch that strengthens relationships with our clients and members. We achieve this through timely communication and flexibility. As a client-facing organization, we interact with clients daily across all services, maintaining an open line of communication to understand and adapt to their evolving needs. Flexibility is key to accommodating their preferences—whether it’s their preferred communication method, frequency, or type of support. We’re here to listen, ask questions, and address their inquiries.
3. What inspires or motivates you in your day-to-day work?
My biggest motivations are my clients and my team. I am committed to providing the best care for our clients. This means taking the time to understand their needs and connecting them with the support that will best fit their unique situations. My team is also a huge motivator for my work. I have such an incredible, supportive team that I work with everyday. We all care and want the best for one another and our clients. We are always there to help each other out. This makes our day-to-day tasks easy and in turn, produces better results for our clients.
4. What do you think sets Kii Health’s services apart from other companies?
It’s the interconnectedness of our solutions. We have so many amazing departments that can address a multitude of our clients’ needs in one place. Having so many options could be overwhelming, but we have the privilege of having our nurse navigation team to guide our clients to the best solutions to address their needs. Our nurse navigation team is the first point of contact our clients have when accessing our services. They assess our clients’ needs and direct them to the most appropriate resources in a timely, streamlined manner.
5. How do you think workplace needs are evolving when it comes to health and wellness support?
We are seeing health and wellness being talked about more in workplace settings. As a result, people are becoming more open to receiving care and we’re seeing a higher volume of individuals reaching out for services related to their well-being. With our nurse navigation model, we’re able to provide our clients’ employees with a clear road map that not only ensures they’re receiving the care they need but also meets their needs through additional support, like training, wellness webinars, counselling, crisis debriefs, etc.
